DW788 question

My wife suprized me by ordering a dw788 for me.  This is the saw I have wanted for years.  I love cutting with it, for the most part, but I have a small problem.
It doesn't cut true, or perfectly perpendicular to the table.
The table kinda locks into the 90* position, but the blade isn't quite true.
I never noticed that till working on an intarsia piece.

When facing the saw, the top of the blade is leaning to the right, approx 1/2 degree or so.  If I tighten the Allen set screw in the lower blade holder, or loosenen the Allen set screw in the upper blade holder, will that resolve this issue?

Josh! Because you are actually cutting 1/2 way in between them ,either, should work ,however you only want to correct 1/2 of the off amount you are off ,for the same reason ,It's trail and error,use a twoxfour pc. slight cut 1/8" deep ,flip and match ,MAKE SURE IT'S NOT YOUR TABLE TILT FIRST ! Straight edge your table.make sure it's flat s-s & f-b ,if OK ,check table tilt,if OK ,then check set screws as above,could be any of the three ,2x4 test cut most acurate way to test ,better than using sm.sq.When you have resolved ,make test cut in new pc of 2x4 flip and save as test guage ,for future test s after you tilt table,to make sure is reset correctly !! I hope all that makes  sense !

I got it.  Took 3 or 4 adjustments, going approx 1/4 turn at a time, but by gently backing off the upper screw and going in with the lower, I now am getting straight and true cuts.

Josh ,Now for The 64,000 dollar question ,Hows the front to back,make another cut a little deeper real close to the end of your 2x4 ,then cut off thin pc between the end and the cut ,reveals that cut graphicly.Will show how your saw blade actuall cuts and the angle of it ,and with the 2x4 will show at all levels of cuts ,in various thickness's of wood ,the thicker the wood the more dramatic the effect ,especially on stacking and slideouts and inlay type cuts

Ho Josh, the lock position on the table can be adjusted also. Mine was out also when I purchased it.
