I remember it well.  Loved James Cagney in Yankee Doodle Dandy!  Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I'm too young to remember this, but I will say that it's plainly obvious to me that these gentlemen had REAL talent, unlike most of the crap you see nowadays!

I am old enough to remember them and their routines. That was fun walk down memory land. I think that is lacking in entertainment today.

I saw the post last week but didn't watch it until now. Yup it brings back memories, especially of Christmas when we had just two channels and all Christmas day they  would run these classics. Bob Hope, the Stooges, Heidi, How Green is my Valley...........  Of course they were not classic then, they were practically new releases.  ;D

I wish instead of these ridiculous losers they put on the Academy Awards show they would just play reruns of Bob Hope so the new generations could see real talent!

If you came here to visit, Dad has all the old ones like that on dvd or video and plays them all the time. I'm sure he would love to put them on for visitors
