IT was supposed to be a gotsya!moment ,just prior to lunch ,Thank you for really looking ,I watched a Large Red tailed Hawk "NAIL " a pigeon ,from beneath the bird feeder in the front yard ,blinded by the sun it never knew what hit him! He flared that wing just before hitting it ,had been sitting in a tree with the sun to his back watching ,then wham,it was over .One of the rare moments ,we ever see of the natural order of things.
