Very nice. You say that is walnut? I use the tropical walnut but I like that color you use. Nice work on the platter and the cuppy cakes.

Troy, yes it's Walnut.

The finish is the first coat is a bath in Lemon Oil.  When that dry's one coat of spray Shellac, then 3 coats of Deft Spray Laquer.
