More info on Sheila's "Problem"!
« on: September 14, 2012, 10:59:56 am »
If you don't read her blog here is part of her message from this morning's entry...

"For those that want to help, I only ask that you get the word out that this is happening. If you know of someone that has purchased patterns with my name on them that is of poor quality, please forward my contact information to them so that I can rectify it. Since I have brought this to light, I have heard from several customers and I am more than happy to help them out. I am ashamed of the quality of patterns that they have received with my name on it, and I want to fix it. One customer told me they called the company and were told ?we don?t design them, we only sell them?. Nice."

Hey GB, I have already received several emails and personal messages asking about this. Even with the clues, they still don't know what Co. we are talking about! Lets just say that if you are a SCROLLER, you get their catalog!

Sheila, rest assured that I will only buy directly from you!

They have been bombarding everyone with catalogs!

I sure don't think any true SCROLLER would have a problem recognizing some of the work by the leading pattern makers.

Real SCROLLER folks are good folks and stand with each other in time of trouble.

If you are true to the SCROLLER code stand with our pal cause "we don't buy no crap!"

I seem to remember a "Scroller" catalog but as I bring in the mail I pass right by the trash dumpster in the garage and it tends to go right in the recycle bin with the rest of the junk mail.
I prefer to deal with 'reputable companies'!!!

I just received this catalog the other day and was going to order, but now it is in the campfire starter pile, should make pretty flames.

I do not have a copy, but may request one just to have the pleasure of throwing it away!

tossed mine today. I was going to order some patterns but if thats the way they treat people they don't need my business. I have only ordered Sheila's patterns from her anyway. I prefer to go to the source. Mike

You rock Russ!!  Woo hoo....you tell 'em   ;D

I think I've only ordered from them once about 3 years ago, the catalogue I have is old and I have a vague idea where it is but be sure when I find it, it'll be filed....maybe I'll take it to work and shred it!  ;D

I emailed them asking to be removed from their mailing list today.  No reason given.

I don't get the catalog but I've guessed who you are talking about.  Don't worry I only ever get Sheila's patterns from Sheila.  Love her work too much not to.
