I have found 4 and 6 inch key chains ( ball chain with connectors) on E-bay for a very reasonable pirce. I bought 100 of each at different times. Shipping was free for me but can't tell you what it may be for you. Very satisfied with the service and the product.

I went to a lock smith shop. Asked if he sells small chains for key fobs. He gave about a hundred (a big handfull) for a dollar. His key rings are alot cheaper than AC Moore and I don't have to buy large quantities I've seen on line.

I go to a little shop with a shoe repair and locksmith, or sometimes to a little hardware store.
I buy 5/8" and 6/8" rings and they cost about $ 0,35 -0,40 each.
