Gun Review
« on: June 15, 2012, 10:34:14 am »
This reliable Beretta Jetfire .22  hand pistol is a personal favorite
of mine and I am never without it.

It saved my life a few years ago when attacked by a Grizzly bear
while hiking in the mountains with a family member.

I was able to escape, walking at a brisk pace, after I shot
my brother-in-law in the knee.

This proves that caliber is not as important as shot placement.

I'm from North Dakota

That proves the old saying, you don't have to run faster than the bear, just faster than anyone with you. and shooting the brother in law in the knee would make going faster than him easy!!!!

Smart thinking Judy!  If you had't simply wounded him the bear might have passed him over and continued to attack.  If you had shot the bear with a .22 it would have probably gotten really ticked off.
