Weather has finally warmed up.
« on: May 13, 2012, 02:27:10 am »
Well folks it looks like summer is here, I'm going to have to get some help setting my saw up in the carport, it's just a bit too heavy for me to wrestle just yet. My project for tomorrow is getting the bench cleared off so I'll have a clean work area for a change, I'm just hoping using the saw doesn't agravate the scar tissue like running the mower did. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm definitely in withdrawls and in need of a sawdust fix!

Happy to hear you are "getting at it" But take it slow and remember to stand up from the saw every little bit and relax every now and then. Tension is not a good thing on the healing parts.

Go for it Gabby, but please remember - take it easy at first, don't overdo it and set back all the good recovery you have made. As Marg says, 20 mins should be a good start. You can always go back for another 20 mins after a rest. Enjoy your "Sawdust Fix"

Take it easy Gabby, have your "FIX" but please don't take an "OVERDOSE". Good luck.

Thanks folks I'm probably going to take it even easier than Marg suggested, like 10 minutes. I've played with it just a little and I'm probably not going to be able to sit much longer than that at one time. I've learned my lesson about extending myself I'm becoming the king of "baby steps".
I'm now in the market for a suggestion for a project, it's been so long since I've thought about a specific pattern. Simple is best at this time and not too large I'm thinking. Suggestions??????
