I ordered a couple from Dewalt 4 or 5 months ago, got them in about 4 days. Just checked their site for fun and it shows they are available. Also a dollar more than I paid.  http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Parts/Detail/299265

Mine was missing also, went into my profile and the avatar wasn't there. I just reloaded it. Shows up in my profile, now to see if it shows up here.

edit, uploaded, looked like c***, chose 'no avatar', saved it, then uploaded a new one, still looks like c***

I had to replace my top blade chuck a few months ago. Did a google search for dewalt service center and found one about 10 miles from me. Ordered two blade chucks, knobs and a bellows (that I thought might go bad). Ordered them on line, got them in less than a week.

I use one from HF. I haven't had any problems with it in over 2yrs. With 20%off coupon, its less than $30.

Good morning. Did you know that Steve has patterns for knobs/levers for the Excalibur and DeWalt in the pattern catalogue under (tools)? Cheers, Barry.

I used steve's on my DeWalt's top clamp. Works great, but be careful, its easy to put to much pressure on the knob and can spread the blade clamp apart over time. (Don't ask how I know)  ::)

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Clock Inserts - Best Place to Buy?
« on: April 02, 2013, 07:11:48 am »
I've bought them from several places over the past few years. As dgman and paul, Sloan's is the only place I/ve bought them from for the past year or so. People are nice on the phone, shipping is reasonable and delivery is fast.

Beautiful clock. Looked at both half a dozen times, have to agree with Dan and Pete, 5 blades.
Nice work

Hold the movement, give it a little twist and it should pull right out.
