Computer questions / Norton removes Keychain maker as virus

i tried downloading Steve's Scrollsaw Keychain Maker (setupKeychain.exe) and my Norton anti-virus deletes it as unsafe.

i downloaded the Scrollsaw Pattern Maker and it was fine so not sure why Norton detected the other program as a virus?
is it possible the installer some how picked up a virus before being downloaded?

has anyone else run into this?

i bought another shop heater for my wood shop today to replace my old one and i hope it works better as it is more powerful then the one i have now.
i am disappointed after opening the box to find out it doesn't include a power cord.

absolutely amazing job, congrats!

i will never be a true scroller as i will never have the patience to do that kind of work. i cant imagine how many hours you have into that piece but it was obviously worth the wait. truly awesome!

why not make your own knobs instead of buying? i made a couple of the flower petal type knobs that can be glued onto the factory blade type knob but they were a bit big in diameter and i would sometimes hit my knuckles on it so i ended up making it removable and then mounted a couple small magnets to it so i would stick it under the table so when i needed to change blades i would just grab it, put it over the factory knob, change blades, tighten it back up... carefully and stick it back under the table.

works slick and super simple. i will try to post some pics this weekend but im sure you have solved the problem since you posted a few months ago but this will be for new members looking.

i think my sand-flea has only been used on boxes i have made and it works awesome. in the three years i have had it, i cannot think of another use i have done with it besides boxes? if i hadn't found it at the price i did, their is no way i would pay as much as they want for them new!

if anyone is wanting a drum sander you should try building your own! go to YouTube and check out some videos and you will see how easy it really is to make one.
give it a try and save yourself hundreds to use elsewhere!

i have the small model and i is pretty handy but i also have a large drum sander and use that a lot more so for the same price get the bigger drum sander, you will be able to use it a lot more.

only reason i have a sand-flea is i found it on craigslist for $75 so i couldnt pass it up. but for what you get, the cost just isnt worth it compared to a normal drum sander.

i use a lot of pine when i scroll and when i go to finish a project in a dark stain the edges are always darker then the surface, is there any way to prevent that from happening?
