I too have the excalibur 16 inch saw, which I am selling as of now. I also find the jet easier to change blades. once you get the hang of putting the blade in the lower holder you don't even have to look.

this is a message for Steve, I just ran across one of your videos of the little jig you had for the jet scroll saws for installing blades in the lower blade clamp, I thought that would be helpful to me. I was wondering if you still had them available?  Thank you Steve, also for all the great patterns.

Hello, my name is Joe Massena and I'm from hermantown,mn. I have an excalibur 16 inch scrollsaw that I am selling and I  also have a jet 18 inch saw. I am fairly new to scrolling but have done some and would like to get into portraits and that sort of stuff. this looks like a great site!

I recently purchased the jet 18 inch scrollsaw. I currently have the excaliber 16 inch saw which I like very much. I got such a good price on the jet that I couldn't pass it up. I was very weary about the blade holders on the jet as I heard it is a love hate relationship with them. I really like the blade holders on the jet better than the excaliber, its so much easier to put the blade in the lower jet holders compared to the excaliber. was wondering if anybody else has any opinions on this? I have to sell one and I think it will be the excaliber.
