Merlin,
As I only have a small bandsaw ( 9" ) the pig is cut totally with the scroll saw. I use a stationary belt sander to shape the snout of the pig. I wish I had a big bandsaw hehe that would make things a LOT simpler.

Finished one of my largest piggy bank orders this morning. A grandmother wanted bank with brass nameplates for each of her grandchildren. The banks are ~ 10 inches long, 4 inches wide and 7 inches tall. The name plates are 1 inch wide, 4 inches long and cut from 0.029 inch thick brass. Sealed with tung oil and then finished with shellac.

Most clamps have two surfaces that hold the blade. One is the set screw that you tighten with the allen key wrench and there should be another one of the other side. You might have to adjust the other one in a bit so that the pinch can hold the blade properly.
