I have been on holiday for the past 6 weeks 
Was busy exploring new places and no connections most of the time. It is good to be home and getting a chance to catch up on the activities here. Highlight was catching a 12 Jack fish in Lac La Biche, Alberta. more to come on all of that. Now to get to work on all the patterns I have requested.

Attached is a picture or my friends grandaughter. As a favor i told him that I would a portrait of her, Well he showed uo tonight and wanted to know if I could have it ready for next week I told him it may not be possible then he showed me the picture, well what could I say to a face like that. Can one of you gifted pattern makers out work your magic for me. Thanks I will post a picture of the completed piece.

I ordered from Rockler. They have a supplier that makes the piece. after allowing about two months I called and found out that the supplier had screwed up on the order and it was never shipped back to rockler and Rockler never followed up on the order. It was a mess. about two weeks later I received two, one of which I returned fearing I would have to pay for it. And that is my story about branding irons

Don, Thank you very much, I will say that this is it. It is an outstanding design and it in-cooperates all the significant events in her life so far. It will be a while before I do the cutting as we are going on vacation starting June 30th and will be gone 6 weeks. But be assured I will post a photo when I do get it done. I have studied the pattern for a number of days now and I just realized that you did include a cross in the original pattern but I failed to see it. It is the main structure of the design with the ribbon draped over it. That is so appropriate, Thanks. There are a few things I would like to try. Can you add 57 where the dog is located and can we replace the syringe with a lancette device or a finger being pricked. She checks her sugar about 8 times a day. The picture on the attachment is close to the one she uses. Thanks again.

That is a lot of work Don, thanks for your input. It just needs a few modifications and I think I will have just what I wanted. Could you replace the MAJD with a cross or a small church (to show her faith) and swap Fredrick Banting and the Cure Diabetes. so that cure diabetes is on the lower side. "Frederick" can be removed so it is just "Banting" and Banting could be a smaller font, cure diabetes could be a larger font. I like your inclusion of the Newfoundland dog, thanks so much. It looks so good that I see a tattoo in the future. Thanks Mahendra and Don for your help.
