Hi, Ray,
Thanks a lot for helping with the request. Excellent proto-type you have shown us!
I would also like to give the compound cut a try but, I must be a bit slow because I don't understand what the second cut is for the body (your pic shows the top view but, no side view)
and I don't understand the second cut on the fenders ( your pic only shows one view).
Can you explain to me what I seem to be missing, please?
If I'm too dense to see somthing that should be easily understood, that isn't your fault!

Tom Priest of SprayPaintCreation.net does that same type of painting and has some excellent
paintings. He is also a scroller and belonged to a couple of the scrolling forums previously.
Here is just one example of his work.

Hi, Stooby,
I don't know why your post is locked from replies but, any hard-wood is fine for Intarsia type projects, projects like book-ends, cell phone holders, card holders, etc and most of the scrollers
seem to prefer Baltic Birch plywood for fretwork projects.
I do not recommend any particular on-line seller but, you can research prices by looking for
Baltic Birch plywood.
