Right now no. It is one of those things Steve is working on. He will post a demonstration video on uploading pictures to the forums. Keep looking in the Bulletins and News category.  8)

Wow I am actually going to be able to post something today. Thanks to all I really appreciate the welcome. Like Charlie I don't claim to know it all and I will do my best. I think Steve's concern is the site safety issue while he can't be online.  Like copyrighted material and other things that should not be posted and any overheated debates. Once again thanks... :)

From my experiance warping is due to moisture. If you read this artical it does make sense. http://www.ehow.com/how_2078078_repair-warped-wood.html I hope this helps.  :)

General Scroll Saw Talk / Dust Collection
« on: April 20, 2010, 10:22:07 pm »
I am courious as to what members use for dust collection. I use a combination. Shop vacs for some of my tools and a clothes dryer motor/fan for my scrollsaw that vents to the outside. I made a cowling around my scrollsaw and a 1 1/4" vac tube goes to the dust port on the scrollsaw. The fan, light and saw on a power strip, one button and all three have power. The cowling and dryer/fan work great and it is very quiet compared to the shop vacs. I can hear the radio while I am making scrollsaw dust.  8)

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: college mascots
« on: April 20, 2010, 10:00:35 pm »
I can only repeat what everyone else has said. I would say 99% of all college mascots and logos are copyrighted. I had a friend who just put a picture of a college logo on his web site just because he was a fan and recieved a Cease & Desist notice shortly after. For your own personel use it is usually not a problem.

Great idea about checking the blade alinement indiana_jones765. That might be true about the big box stores BB kardar2, but I buy mine from Sloans Woodshop and have had no problems. They carry Russian and Finland BB.

Both of the other answers are great things to try to help correct the problem. I know I have had problems with oak plywood but not with Baltic Birch. The only other thing I can add is when you come to the point of the V try to slow down and not push the wood as hard.  8)
