Frank you are missing a few spots.  There should be 24 shots of Tequila one for each day until Christmas. :)  Nicely done.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

Bob it could be 1/4.  I printed it out on my printer here and that is what it looks like to be.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: amber shellac ?
« on: November 23, 2014, 10:14:47 pm »
Lowes carries amber shellac from Bullseye both in spray and in can form.  Light even coats are the key to it.  Let it dry good then lightly go over it with a piece of brown paper bag.  This knocks down any spray roughness.  Generally 3 - 5 light coats will get you an outstanding finish.  If you should create a run, let it dry sand it smooth and respray the area.  Shellac cleans up well with denatured alcohol.  It can also be used with a small paint brush to smooth out any runs or imperfections.  Dipping the brush in the denatured and then painting the run and the area around it will allow it to flow smooth, might have to take a little time to do it that way but it works.
Shellac can be brushed or sprayed.  I generally spray it.

Ask Steve a question. / Re: Steves Pattern DVD
« on: November 18, 2014, 06:26:58 pm »
The hard part is not putting the patterns on the DVD / Mem Stick / external HD it is making it searchable.  How many of your patterns are cataloged and in categories?  I run into this all the time with folks wanting to be able to search their pictures, however they have never taken the time to work up a system so that they can find them again.  Same thing goes with the patterns.  Need to sort them,  catalog them, and if need be rename them so that when you do a search you can easily find them.

Excellent Rog!  That came out fantastic.  I like playing around with different combinations of types of wood to see what can be done.  The possibilities are endless and the results often stunning like your bowl.  Well done!  Who ever gets that will be quite happy with it I am sure.  Thanks for sharing this with us.
