Nice job Frank.I have a show Saturday and if I can get the time to cut one or two I will see if I can get $10 also. I do know some one will ask if I would take $3.

Would something like this work?  The first couple of the these type key chains I did I laid them out with a ruler.  I did print the letters to as close the correct size as I could and them made the frame fit You can square off the top where the ring or chain goes our you could leave iit off and use a small screw eye. I gave one to a lady finished with lemon oil and clear laquer and the first thing she did was paint it red.   Go figure!

I'm with you Danny

I see some prices on ornaments and other pieces  where I believe the folks are at least trying to make a living at what is a hobby for me.  I also know that if they come down here to Plainview Va, they would soon starve to death. I try to price my items fairly. I know I cannot sell the for what they are worth, but if I can sell them for cost and a little more them I can buy more material and make new things.  If I had to put a price on the enjoyment I get, prices would be astronomical!

I use the Krylon  all the time
Tried several other brands, but still prefer the Krylon clear. I get mine at Wally World. Price here is $3.64 price at the hardware store for the same can is $7.00  No Brainer!  I use 2- 3 coats. Light sand between with 1000- 1200 grit and after the final I give it a couple swipe with 4000 grit.

Way to go Tony

You did much better than me today. Went to what I refer to as a bonus show. We were invited to a Alpaca Farm Open House. My wife was going to do a spinning wheel demonstration and I was to sell mostly things I have made with a "fiber motif". Well the rain was nasty all day and we never even put up the canopy or even took a thing out of the van. Event was frm 10 - 4. We left at about 12:30. Stopped had a nice lunch and when I got home I sold a puzzle for $5.  Can't complain at all! Have a big show next Saturday and hopefully weather will be nice.  Again nice sale. I have not sold that many ornamemts in the past 3 years total!

Pattern Requests. / Re: help with a cart

Nice pattern Bob I grabbed a copy, but really not sure why. Last week we had a sale here in our park. Among the things I had out for sale were a variety of napkin holders. Had lighthouses, crabs ships wheels ,several different animals, initial  and name.  Of course one lady came by and liked them but wanted to know if I had one with flip-flops. I didn't :(  But now I do :)  I will deliver it this weekend. she has already approve the design so its a done deal.  Again thanks for the pattern

I had the same problem earlier this summer and it took several days to a week for the piece to not be sticky. I posted the problem here and everyone pretty much agreed that the humidity was the culprit. I can not help any furthur as I have shied away from the 50/50 mix since then. I went back to lemon oil, minearl oil and sometimes just a couple of coats of spray shellac. Hopefully some others will be able to give you a quick solution.
