Swap Shop / 788 stand on sale @ service center
« on: December 06, 2011, 04:14:05 pm »
I was at the Dewalt/PC/Delta service center in Tampa today, and they had the stand for the 788 on sale at $39.  Just thought I'd post it here in case anybody needs one.

On the first two, I agree.  On the third, depends on what they are overexcited about.  I might volunteer to be the target!

Some of the cnc's are great tools.  I think they can be fascinating.  I have heard of far too many problems with the carvewright (however it is spelled), but the more expensive ones can be quite good.

In my opinion though, if you are looking to start any kind of business, the more important part is developing a product that will sell and a market to sell it in.  If you accomplish those two things, then the tool and technology for you production will naturally follow.  If all you have is a faster way to make the same things, then someone else will always find a way to make it even faster and cheaper.

Torsten,  You will have to dig around a bit but this guy's blog includes pictures of his displays and he seems  to have much of it down to a science.

On the really heavy stuff like that I use an Olson PGT #9.  The most aggressive blade in my arsenal.  I have the "thick wood" blades to, but I like the pgt's,  outside of the pgts I use FD's.

Judging from the view over that long ride, I bet Santa knows for sure!  Besides, does Rudolph sound feminine or Donner, Blitzen, Dasher, Comet?

I find that 7 works great.  Vista not so much.  There is always another system in beta.  If you prefer an email program like outlook express there are several such as Outlook in Office.  Personally I am not much of a fan of web based email. To each, his own!

Nope!  You are the only one Gabby.

Used to be a saying on a Hooters marquis here that read "That's right Honey, you are special!  Just like everybody else."  One of my favorites.
