General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: New DeWalt 788 for GrayBeard!!!

The only draw back is if your saw has a bottom dust port, it won't work with the plexiglass. I add some extra small holes to help. Also I only use the plexiglass when doing small, fragile cuts.  :o

Yes there is GrayBeard. Go to Scroll Saw Village. Go into the Forum Section and you will see a list of categorys. In Town Square, top section, is Village University.
You will find eight tutorials by Travis on how to use Inkscape. He takes you through it step by step. It really isn't that hard. They are very good, I have watched them all. Hope this helps.  8)

I use 3/4" pine too and that is the blade I choose. Tried using spiral one time, not sure why, on a pattern with a allot of cuts like yours. Did not like they way it cut in the pine at all. Went back to the 2/0 and sometimes 3/0 reverse tooth.

Nice work, good job. What type of blade did you use to cut the pine?  8)

Most of the time thiefs will pawn the items (tools). So check your local pawn shops for any stolen items. It might be a good idea to mention that to the member. Just a thought.  8)
