When you do that, don't you have them little dimples on the back of what ever you cut out?  Or do you drill in the middle of the cut out?  I also bottem feed, but after I drill my pilot holes I scrape the back with a putty knife to get rid of all the trash that comes with drilling, then I sand the back where I drilled and then blow them off with my airgun.  The hole show up just like a picture, you can't miss them when you insert the blade from the bottom.

I use an Olsom #3 20/14.  I use this blade on all 1/4 inch & 1/8 inch.  I have no splintering al all, and I do a lot of fret work.  I would not think of useing any other blade because it works for me.

I just looked at the wood prices on Heritagewood, and I can not believe the prices.  I just bought a piece of Red Oak 1/2 inch thick by 10 inches wide and 8 foot long for $17.00 at woodsmith in Des Moines Iowa, and the same piece from our local lumber yard is just a few dollars more.

I use double stick tape the wide kind, an I really have no problems at all.  I cut up to four high this way.

Well, I finally recieved my ornaments from Shiela, and they are beyond words, let me tell you.  The picture will do them no justice at all, you need to see them in person.  Shiela, Thank you so much, and I feel honored  to show them to eveyone.
