Pattern Requests. / Re: Requesting your input.

I think I may have convinced my customer to allow me to cut out the white and attach the letters to a backer board.  I'm waiting for him to think it over.  That is my preferred method but I have to do what the customer wants in the end.  If push comes to shove I'll place a thin backer just for stability.

Thanks for the suggestions.  They are appreciated.

Except customer wants the black removed and he wants the letters 3.5 inches tall.  Great suggestions though fellahs.

That is a great tip. I've resorted to my own saliva before, it works well also the enzymes break down the blood.

I have a customer who may want more than 1 sign so I need to really knock this first one out of the park.

I got some help to modify the font so it did not contain drop outs, but now it is so fragile in a couple of areas I'm torn as to how to handle it.

I think when I cut out the black I will then need to attach a backer board.  If this is what I do what should I use?  Keep in mind this will be subject to weather as it goes over the door to a horses stall.  The sign is being made out of WRC (western red cedar).  I'm leaning toward using another thinner piece of WRC as the backer.

Remember I'm removing the black.

Thanks for any help!

I have a product called "Top Cote"  It was a gift or I would be using your method still, I did it your way for many years.

Do you guys store one battery in the charger all the time so it is always charged?  Just wondering the proper way to do it.

In the box:

    (1) Hitachi DS18DVC 18 Volt 1/2? Ni-Cd Cordless Driver Drill
    (2) Hitachi BCC1812 1.2Ah 18V Rechargeable Ni-Cd Batteries
    (1) Hitachi UC18YK High-Speed Battery Charger
Molded Plastic Case that Holds Drill, 3 Batteries, Battery Charger, and Drill Bit Kit (3rd battery sold separately)
    Driver Bit
    Safety Instructions and Instruction Manual
    Warranty Information
    (1) Hitachi 728079 Seven-Piece Drilling and Driving Set with Case

I noticed one reason it is less expensive is it has the nicad batteries VS the lithium ion batteries for the really expensive version.  Still a good price and can't have too many of these around the shop.

I'm looking for a font.  I gave it a go at several font sites but not knowing what it is called my search has been futile.

Thanks for the info... does not seem to be much I can do except put up with the minor aggravation of remembering to re-name files... I'm not sure how to do the firefox save gizmo.  It never did it to adobe reader files though.

I'm using firefox and it never changed anything when I was using adobe reader.  I just got tired of adobe taking over my computer and locking up all the time.  So I tried you fellahs suggestion and got fox it...
