The Lowes here sometimes has birch plywood, 1/4 in.  It is not Baltic Birch. Last time i checked, the had an similar ply labeled as "Blondwood" No one there could tell me what it was. But like the other sheet goods there I am sure it has voids.

I agree with Bill.. I have one very similar to the Rockler and Seyco.  I do not care for it at all. I use the round florescent also and have no problem with it. I just bought another just like it at a yard sale. Got it for $12.  the size of the LED light is just too small.

Somewhere ( maybe here)  I read that Baltic Birch comes in sheets that are 5' X5'.  I have a box that I put all of my real scrap wood in to burn. Sometimes the kids in the park will come by and rummage through the box to see what they can find. I usually try to put pieces like broken ornaments in without any more damage. They think they found something "GOOD"

From the Harthie site:

Harthie reinvented the scroll saw. During the working operation, the blade shaft of the Harthie scroll saw is endlessly rotatable through 360 degrees with only three fingers and movable in a diameter of 35 mm from the center. With this innovation, our scroll saw makes possible cuts in every direction without the need to move the workpiece. This leads to a never known before precision and sensitivity in sawing. There is no longer a limitation given by the longitudinal passage and during the construction of the scroll saw, special attention was applied to a very high sawing stroke of up to 40 mm. This results in a prevention of heat accumulation, a better utilization of the saw blade teeth and a higher cutting speed with less rpm (revolutions per minute).

At my first read, I took the abuse to be intended for the spammers, which only adds to the problem and the amount items to delete. If someone was attacking or Moderator may their blades always be brittle and their tables rusty and their wood petrified.  Russ, Thanks for everything you do!!!!!!
