Pieter, You can download a spell checker at www.iespell.com. Once downloaded, you right click on your mouse and the spell checker will pop up in the dialog box.

Hey yyyyyguy, As a scroll saw instructor I start my students off with skip tooth blades because they cut smooth without bouncing the wood off of the table. I don't start them on reverse tooth blades until the intermediate class.
I recommend you try different brands and types and sizes until you find what works for you. For me I use Olson reverse tooth blades.

Bud, there is a thin vertical bar that sits in front of the lower blade clamp. It is attached with two torks screws, one on top and one on the bottom. It's there to protect your fingers if the saw is running. When I feed the blade from above, I reach down and tighten the lower blade clamp without looking. The lower guard gets in the way. So I removed it.
