You have a problem most of us face. You would have to find a lumber mill locally with a saw big enough to slice it. Or spend the big bucks to buy a band saw that will do the job. If you took your time and a sharp saw you could do it buy hand. I have done it successfully on a couple of occasions.

We have a Pipe and Drum corps made up from members of different local Fire Departments. They have been together for years. Some members are retired but continue to play.

Really guys, let's try a little harder to stay on topic.
I built my own stand to be able to sit when I scroll and for dust collection. It is also tilted forward. I can sit comfortably for hours.

I have some 1/16" x 2" cedar left over from some ripping I had to do. Going to try some bookmarks with that just to see how it works. I like your idea MrsN. I bet that does look good.
