Is there a secret to cutting the 0 in 50 without it looking like a big open circle? I am trying to do a 50th Birthday sign.

There are several fonts that have an open end to the 0 for instance any of the stencil fonts will have a 0 that has a gap running vertically several other fonts have one running horizontally.  Essentially you can make any font so that you can cut it without having a big gaping hole where an O or a 0 would be with the use of an image editor such as inkscape.

That is as bad as the guy who's job it was to change the very top light on the top of the Sears Tower - 1700 feet up.. no way.  Unless the building, platform or plane I was on was in imminent danger of collapsing or blowing up would I do that hehe.

I read the posts, post comments and some of my work from time to time.  Slow down of the message boards is very common when the weather turns nice.  I saw this happen time and time again with the on line gaming community over the last 15 years or so.  Unless the doors are shuttered I am here

I made this bowl from a glue up that I made using leftover pieces in my shop.  Pine, Purple Heart and Baltic Birch Ply.



The bowl is 10" x 8" x 3".  It was sealed with Tung Oil and then top coated with semi gloss lacquer.  The pattern was made from this website - http://www.scrollmania.com/polydraw.html
