If you bought it from SEYCO I know he fine tunes them before shipment. That makes them plug n play.

I like the blue tape on the wood, 3M && sprayed on back of pattern then a layer of clear packing tape over pattern. Easily peels off and no residue or sanding required.

Try Inkscape and trace to bitmap then enlarge, Should get much better results.
