I envy you, Gordon. Hope your enjoying the Dells! I'm just 90 miles to the west of you in the Lacrosse area. While your in the Dells you should visit the Wisconsin Dells Craft Mall, just south of the interstate on Hwy 12. There are several scrollers with booths there and a lot of other great booths, too.  I used to have one but left it about a year ago, gas prices made it too hard to maintain. Enjoy yourselves!

Brag Forum / Re: Decorative Violin Pattern by Steve

That's great cutting, the choice of wood makes it look like a miniature violin. I've cut the pattern too out of maple and it looks very nice. How would you display this? Would you just lay it on a shelf, or put it in a stand?

Ask Steve a question. / Nose with glasses pattern

Steve - I love the pattern of the nose with eyeglasses being held on them. I've cut this pattern and it turned out great. I'm planning on selling a few at my next craft show. I tried to downsize it just a little to look like it might be holding women's glasses, cut it in maple too, but the lips portion still doesn't make it look like a woman. Could you possibly redesign that pattern in a ladies style?

Thank you for all that you do. Your contribution to the scrolling community just can't be overstated.

Hi Pete! I had to look at a map to find out where Patch Grove was. Never heard of it. Looks like your near PDC. Will you be going to the Richland Center Scroll Saw show in August? I've been there the last few years. It's always a great show, lots to see and buy. Maybe we'll catch each other there.

Hello, my name is Ray and I'm from Onalaska, Wisconsin, right next to Lacrosse, along the Mississippi river. I've been scrolling for about 5 years. I do fretwork pictures, mini clocks, and other "shelf sitters". I've done many of Steve's patterns and I do appreciate his sharing his talents. I'm looking forward to this forum and learning and sharing with everyone.

Thanks,
Ray F
