Been in the same boat Richard.  Indescribable pain but but the joy and companionship are what make it worth enduring.  My shepard "Hagrid" is 7 now and if I lost him (makes me shudder) I would have to get a new buddy quickly to start to fill the hole.  You have my sympathies!

Had it!  Was on cpap for a year, but I had problems with the mask.  I wear a full beard and a mustache, so fit is difficult.  I also toss and turn a lot.
Whenever I did, the mask leaked and the sound awoke me.  Insurance changed after a year, so I just quit using it.  I had lost some weight, and it just doesn't seem to bother me anymore.  I assume that the change is due to the weight loss.  Of course I still need to lose a lot more, but that's another story.  Best of luck!

I'll probably order some supplies.  I use their double sided tape and they were out at the woodworking expo this year.  That stuff really comes in handy for a lot of things and it is 1/3 off.

Our oldest son is a gun enthusiast.  He and I have taken a couple of tactical handgun classes together and had a great time together.  He haw always taught gun safety to his kids and keeps his guns in a safe (handguns) and a locked cabinet (long guns).  His 9 year old is visiting me right now.  I took my Grandson to the local pistol range this weekend and was very impressed at how well he handled himself.  He respects the weapons and rules, knows how to clear and check a weapon, and only proceeds when given the ok.  He also shoots more accurately than many adults I know.  The local police practice at the same range, and a Captain gave him a stick on badge and complemented him on his behavior.

Glug glug glug.  In other words, I am with you Russ.  The location in your picture is only a couple of miles from my office on MacDill AFB in Tampa.  I think we could fish out the back door this week.  And to think last week I took my Grandson out kayak fishing in the backwaters of the bay!

My oldest son says "Guns don't kill people.  Fathers of pretty girls kill people!"

Personally I love people who don't believe in guns.  It makes them easier to shoot (only in self defense of course)  ::)

Welcome to the RBI club GB!  It may not have the bells and whistles of your Dewalt, but I bet you grow to love it in a hurry.

I hear you GB!  I don't do Macs either.  Good luck with it!  Sounds like you have a fair chance of recovery.

Your warning is right on the money.  I run an automatic backup of my terrabyte drive weekly.  That being said, if her motherboard fried, they should still be able to easily copy the files from her hard drive unless I am missing something.  I have a device I can attach to any hard drive and convert it temporarily to a usb drive.  Comes in quite hand for this type of situation and only sells for about $25.

Smart thinking Judy!  If you had't simply wounded him the bear might have passed him over and continued to attack.  If you had shot the bear with a .22 it would have probably gotten really ticked off.

I'm with Crabby.  I have used gel stains on pine and poplar with good results.  Even on larger projects like bookcases.  You get more consistent results with better control.

Here on the west coast of Florida when we dig a basement it is called a swimming pool.  My shallow well hits water at about 14 feet down.  I insulated the ceiling of my garage shop, and am slowly doing the same to the walls so the A/C is practical.  I built a frame & plywood floor over the ancient concrete one which also helps (mostly for an even surface though).

I got that email to GB.  Good sale.  I ordered a half dozen I didn't have before.  I have bought the Stone Mountain bits before and been pleased with them.  I always prefer 1/2 shaft whenever possible.
