Awesome.  You have more talent in 1 finger than I have in both hands.

Re: Building a clock.  I built a 42" tall York Minster cathedral, plus a pedestal, for a total height of 6+ feet.  16' string of white Christmas lights inside.

IF I had it to do over again, I would definately attach sheets of stained glass to the insides.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Exercise should be more like Trick-or-Treating:  Walk 20 feet, get a piece of candy, walk 30 feet, get another piece of candy, walk 15 feet, get a piece of candy............

Hi Chelcass,  This is a part of an article, "7 things men will never understand about women."    Enjoy.

7.  On the more practical side of things, men will never understand our ability to multi-task.  While, for many of them, eating popcorn and watching a movie at the same time is about as far as they get, it's not uncommon for us to be able to juggle 4 or 5 tasks at the same time.  And we aren't just saying this ---science can, and has, proved it.

Hi Chelcass.
I'm Jerry, the guy that posted the original.  Out of boredome (& being a little devilish), every now & again, I like to "Kick a Hornets Nest", run to a safe location & turn around and watch the commotion.

Your response was superb.  Please give yourself a high five !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Jonny, if coal is selling at $6 a ton, and you paid $24, how many tons would you get?"

"Slightly over three tons."

"No, that's not right."

"I know, ma'am, but they all do it."

My wonderful wife and I are married 51+ years.  A couple of years ago, we bought 2 burial plots and a headstone at a NE Iowa cemetary.  WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY !!   We have money tied up in that investment, and it hasn't done us a darn bit of good.

Learn from the mistakes of others and save your money.

On page 8, center left side, the cathedral picture.  I sent that in.  Not exactly accurate or complete.  I designed the pedestal.  (Certainly no big deal).  The credit to John Nelson is for the 2 pedestal, fretwork, decorative, pedestal TOP supports is how it should have read.  (They are BARELY visible).
Bought my first scroll saw August 2012.  This was my first project.  Saw was $70 at Menards Building Center.  (I think they only exist in the midwest U.S.)  One of our sons commented at the time, "It's good to see you start with something simple Dad".

Smart Aleck  :) :)

450 pieces, 3,743 inside cuts. 16 foot string of lights.
