This was my first intarsia piece. I have done this one twice (I also made the walnut frame). I just finished a 33 piece Tedy Bear. I am hoping to get a picture of it today

If you start glueing them together you will have a really cool piece to work with

Congartulations!!! I know how hard it is to do all that. My wife works full time nd is going for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Does most of it online, but we have to go up to St. Augustine Fl almost every other weekend. 4 hour drive each way.

Hi Tonya. Thanks for to pointers. I jusat have totry it again. Back when I was a cabinet maker. We used corion all the time. Counter tops, things like that. We used alot different equipment. I have a whole stack of corion from a friend that used to work for me, now has his own shop and does alot of corion. I will try to set some time aside to try it again. I'll let you know how I do.
Thank you
Chris

We don't know each other yet, but I believe you have alot more going for you than you realize.  I have been reading about you and all the friends you have here. I would like to consider my friend also. I would like to join some of the chats, but I am recently married and we agreed to not let the computer interfere with our lives. So I rarely get on the computer at night. I don't know if you read my story in my website, but please do. http://woodcraftsbychris.com/aboutme.html
I thought my life was done at one point, but it's not, it's just starting again. Just differently. Alot of my friends left, they couldn't handle my disability. Were they friends, or just drinking buddies? I don't know. But it's okay now. I have new friends in here.

I use an airbrush from Harbor Freight also. I just use it to put finish on and it works great! The airbrush only cost me $12.00

This was my first attempt at painting. I'm not very good at holding a brush. My neice really enjoyed playing with them.
