Now I sure feel that is a Super Inexpensive way to go.  Never tried this method, but I shall soon.
Many of our members use the PACKING tape over the PATTERN which is another method I have tried and wasn't impressed with due to as I cut a fret SOME fine sawdust would get under the tape creating a visual problem for me.  Anyway I have my way as everyone eles has theres.
      Thanks for the TIP.....................................Danny  :+}

Wanted to post this in the Coffee shop, but wouldn't let me post a pic.  Hope this be OK. ?

While sorting out our spare bedroom which is a collect all I ran across a full box of
National Geographic mags in Perfectly New Condition.  They range from ..1981 thru 1989..
The belonged to my Father In Law who has long been deceased.  He lived with our family for years and years.  Anyway my Question....Hope one of you are familiar with this subject and can lead me on to MAYBE RICHES.  LOL  Hope.....Maybe....

              Thanks for any Assistance.  Danny  :+}

Hello everyone....  Besides wanting to share my Newest Cross with ya's I also want to kind of prove a point as to what I have been yacking about with using Adhesive back paper for my patterns.  The first picture is the Paper Pattern that was used to cut the Cross.  Lightly heat and as you can see the pattern lifted in one piece.  Yea!  Always does.  The Cross is from SSWC
Mag.  Think Jim Nelson is the designer.  Don't know which issue.  Anyway I always just LOVE
to read all of your Feed back....  Danny  :+}

If you aren't it would benefit you to register as a member at SSWC.  Not near as many patterns as Steve offers us.  Just a new twist to Forums.

EIEIO....  Pretty sure this website is where I got the Victorian Cross.  Lots of FREE PATTERNS.

Mike sells the mini drill bits.  I have used them for years.  Order either the .065 or .068.
Works Great.  #1 slides thru Perfectly.  #3 will have problems.  My 2 cents....  Danny :+}

              MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY SCROLLING FAMILY

Gramps....Yes Print the pattern on the sheets.   Prints Great.

Chelclass....Tried the ZAPPER way a time or two.  Wasn't impressed.  And using the
Spirits to clean glue residue afterwards was for the Pits!  Messy n Smelly.  And sometimes
peeling the Blue Tape off from a 200 insides cuts was times taking and sometimes frustrating.

Nope I say again using these Adhesive back sheets is The way I shall go.  With lightly applied heat the pattern will lift off mostly in one piece.  NO GLUE RESIDUE left on the wood.

Well this be it for now.............Danny  :+}

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR KIND WORDS....

About Turning on a Dime....  Learned with practice (much) to NOT try to turn the blank FAST.
When I come to the end of the POINT area I slightly pull back the blank towards the point.
Then turn the wood SLOWLY while holding back.  No hurry here.  Get all exactly in line to come back and proceed.  Works same with turning 90's.  I MAINLY cut my projects using BB stock.
Stacked up to my comfort of 1/2"l.  And TO ME the MAIN thing that assures me a Great Cut is using....................FD-UR #1 Blades............................  Another 2 cents....Danny  :+}
