Well it looks like many of our members like the Adhesive Back Sheets for their patterns.
Like I mentioned already.  Blue tape and Spray glue (for me) are a thing of the Past. :+}

Gee! Lots of Ideas guys n Gal.  Not a Basement here, but still have the dust problem.  Shop is 14X12.  I use a small Heater Fan blowing across the Scrollsaw into a Box fan with a GOOD filter attached.  Did have the small shop vac hooked up attached to the A/C plug of the saw right directly below the table.  Visual thing there was very little if any fine sawdust floating.  Cut a piece with NO FANS OR VACS. and Wow!  Sawdust floating every wheres.  Anyway. Newfie I use the 8.5X11 Adhesive sheets.  I have cut Many, many patterns lately.
I just peel off the backer paper and stick it on the wood blank.  No Painters tape.
For sure No Packing tape.  And for Soft woods I always use the FD-UR#1 blade.
They cut NEAR PERFECTLY FOR ME even up to 3/4 inch.  I have cut mostly lately
projects using BB 1/4" stacked 2 up.  Piece of Cake....  Danny  :+}

Good :-) Morning Judy and All....  Have read MANY posts saying the Packing Tape is
there to LUBRICATE the blade.  I just haven't ever got into a habit of using it for
various reasons.  I don't have any problems with the way I do it, so....I HAPPY.  :+}

Hi Barry.  I am glad at least one other person finds the Packing Tape to be like you said.
Don't know the brand right off hand, but when I worked as a PRINTER we printed labels on a brand named STARLINER for ever.  Stationary stores do carry this.

I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ....GREAT CUTTING AND SUPER HAPPY TIMES since I started using this method.

All I do is like normal.  Sand the wood blank to 220.  Basically wipe the dust off and apply the pattern.  PIECE OF CAKE....   Danny  :+}
