Swap meets and flea markets are not the place to go.   People at these events have a garage sale mentality & want really low prices.  Try local farmers market.  Dress up your display with table covers.  Try some risers to place your items on different levels.  Nice signage and clear pricing and a big smile.   Good luck in future try's.  Don't give up holiday shopping is just around the corner.
You have a nice variety of items.

Thanks Ray for the links and advice...always good to have some sort of action going on in a booth.  Even if they don't sell  my grand kids will be amused.  Plus they will draw people to the booth.

Love the way the folks are dressed in the retro skittles pic.  Looks interesting as a game.

Toys, cars, trucks, planes, etc sell really well.  I'm like you Ray, not sure why there is not more interest on the forums for them.

I always use a sealer first.  it can be as simple as a latex paint or you can use shellac.

Just a suggestion.  Try one with the magnet to see if it remains magnetized.  I used some heat on a project and the magnet was no longer magnetized.  Not sure that was the problem but no sense wasting them.

That is not true Terry.  Your message is still on their site and getting several responses.

Actually cnc and lasers are still wood working tools and if used properly can enhance our scrolling.  I used to get real offended when a customer saw some of my work and asked if i used a lazer, now I take it as a compliment and use their comment as a conversation opener.   Although CNC and laser cutters are not my cup of tea i use a table saw and a miter saw to enhance my work and the other tools can do things a scroll saw alone cannot accomplish.  So I read the article with an open mind and found it enlightening.
