got mine home yesterday evening, spent today setting it up. Only prob so far is too much front to rear travel on blade, not yet managed to sort that yet, but will look at it again in the morning. Apart from that it's a good machine, strong and well built and 100% easier to change blades and feed blades into those little holes lol.

Just got my EX16 home last night, been setting it up today, it's like a Rolls Royce compared to my old one, just need to sort out the blade now as it's got far too much forward to back travel, but when thats sorted there will be no stopping me.

I know how you feel feeding the blade up through those small holes then fitting the adaptor on with a hex key then tensioning the blade before cutting, you said it was tedious but I wouldn't have been so polite lol. The most cuts like that I have made was 50and that was bad enough with all the bottom feeding. I think you have a great deal of patience, and have turned out an excellent piece of work - congratulations

WOW - now thats what I call a nice piece of work, I'll be glad when I get half as good as that. What wood is it made with and how thick? when I improve a little I might just have to ask for a copy of the pattern (please )

Hi Scott and Michael, welcome to the forum, I'm Keith from Cornwall UK, I too am a newbie and found that the "family" here is brilliant and very helpfull with any problems you might have, there is a wealth of knowledge here and everyone seems very willing to share it all with anyone who needs help.

Hi Tim, welcome to the forum, I'm Keith from Cornwall UK. I picked up my new EX16 this afternoon so in the morning you can guess who's setting up his new saw lol. They are a great bunch of people here and everyone is so helpfull. Why don't you post a picture of your work?  whether you are a newbie like me or an experienced scroller, it's nice to see the different work produced. Everyone has to start at the beginning of their learning curve, and as it's your first piece ever, you should be really proud of it.
