I used to have 16" and now I have the EX-21 and believe me I ummed and rrrr about the EX-30 because one time or other your going to want to cut something bigger, so if you have the readies available go for bigger because bigger is better. lol

Hey Frank I have no issues with you altering any of my patterns the only reason I do them is for people to use them and to have fun cutting them, so feel free.

I haven't been on this forum for long and should start putting patterns on here but I just don't like repeating myself selfish I know.

I use re-positional spray glue and put 2" wide clear selotape on top comes off easy.

I've just bought the EX-21 had it for two weeks there's only one word for it OUTSTANDING!!

It so quite, no vibration and you can lift the arm out of the way and it stays there which is a novelty to me and you can adjust everything.

Summary It's the Ferrari of the Scrollsaws a precision tool.

I use a SKIL 125watt with a flexible drive it's great to use, It's bit like a Dremel  with loads of attachments..
