General Scroll Saw Talk / Drill Press:

I'm looking for a drill press table for my drill press.  My question is, when they say it fits drill presses 13 inch or bigger, where do you measure to get the 13 inch part.  I guess I do not understand where to measure?

Thanks Russ for the heads up.  Even though I don't design patterns, if I see any I will let our designers here know.

General Scroll Saw Talk / BigFoot

I have never had such great customer service that I got from BigFoot out of Canada.  I bought thier Lift & Lock for my scroll saw, but whileI was sawing, the piece that holds the arm up busted and fell right on the piece I was sawing.  I also bouth thier Lever Lift and that didn't work either.  So I sent them a email.  It wasn't more than 15 minutes and my cell phone rang.  It was David from BigFoot.  He was really concerned about the problem, and told me that bought pieces would be in the mail on Monday, since this was friday late in the afternoon.  Not only did he call me but emialed me two time that leting me know how sorry this happened and asured me that the Lock & Lift and the Lever Lift would be in the mail on Monday.  I know all parts you can get a flawed one and I did, but there was no questions asked just great customer service on thier part.  I would recommed BigFoot to everyone on thisform, and also to our woodworking club.

GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT COMPANY, & GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE .

I tried with my guitar tuner andit just don't work the same.  The best way is to get the tension on the blade and you will know when it goes "ping".

It sure seems like that Dewalt 788 is haveing a lot of trouble, one thing after another.  My Delta 40-690 has had nothing go wrong with it yet except broken blade once in a while.  To those of you that don't know it the 788 is the same thing as the 40-690.
