Love the design, did it just come to you or did something inspire the design?

Welcome Tony, One thing I will say about this forum is there is no shortage of help when you are in trouble. I have never been on any forum that has had so many friendly people on it and everyone of them willing to help someone who has a problem. I also agree with Julief, the blades make all the difference, I was using standard cheapie blades from local store and I couldn't follow a straight line let alone a curved one with them, I changed to the Flying Dutchman blades and my cutting improved immediately, they cut straight with no problem and stay sharper longer too, also the difference in price is negligable. Well worth the few extra pennies for these blades.

I get my 6mm Birch ply off of Ebay from Hobbies. It is ?4.45 for a 610mm by 305mm and p+p is ?6.95, but you can have as many sheets as you want for same p+p. The quality of the birch ply from there is very good, I've never had a bad bit yet. I haven't found a supplier locally yet for some reason no one stocks it. Don't know if that helps you.

Thanks for the heads up on the pattern, and thanks Grampa for the pattern, I'll not attempt it till I have a few easier ones done, but I have the pattern saved for later. I'll post pics when I attempt it , I just hope I can do such a nice pattern justice.

I used CorelDraw and jusr erased the old number and found a similar font to put in the new number, stretched it to fit then used the weld tool to complete the job. All this was able to be done only thanks to Steve putting in the time to make video tutorials on how to make plans in CorelDraw - thanks Steve, you saved me yet again.

I have to agree with Chuck - I hate blood on my projects - especially when it's my blood!!!!!

I still think it's fantastic piece of work and you should be very proud of it. The more I look at it the more I like it. would there be any chance of you posting a copy of the plans please ( although I would have to save them till i get a little better)
