Thanks guys. Things took a turn for the worse today, this was all supposed to be an amicable decision but it turned nasty and physical. Ended up at the police station filing assault charges and getting a restraining order. Terry and I fly out on Sunday for the holiday I have spent months organizing, now I feel torn between going and staying. I know in my heart it is better for all of us if we go but it will be with a heavy heart.

Hope you don't mind me telling you this. My daughter and her husband have finally decided to separate. They have been together for about 11years. I am sad for my daughter but not sad that it is over it was inevitable. I think it was on the cards after their 2nd year together, it has been a very rocky marriage considering his obsession with money and always being moody. Still it means I have a house sitter for the 3 months that I am away and it is still close to the kids school. Sorry I just had to tell someone, I don't mean to depress you all, I'm trying very hard to smile at the moment and thats not like me.

God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do... and the eyesight to tell the difference.
Now that I'm older (but refuse to grow up) here's what I've discovered:
1. I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.
2. My wild oats have turned into prunes and all-bran.
3. I finally got my head together, and now my body is falling apart.
4. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.
