Well Dan I am looking at between $25 and $40, it will depend on the cutting time, I managed to buy the clock insert at a good price and this helps in my pricing as well, I am also doing some desk clocks with motors as apposed to the inserts
these also look appealing as well

Good one GB you have made a killing and have charged what you think is a fair price, you are happy the punters are happy and that is all that counts

Make sure the bottom grub screw is adjusted correctly, I have super glued mine in top and bottom as they tend to work there way out causing the blade to slip out

At least it didn't blow a main bearing like mine did, I had it repaired and now it vibrates when used at a higher speed, generally the switches can be dismantled  and cleaned and if so it is advisable if you don't the the contacts burn out

As Russ says Judy you are still a young lady and have plenty of time for recovery, I have never had an op. so I really cant comment but I had an horrific MVA and it took 3 years to make a full or as full as it could be recovery and I was only in the hospital for 4 days so I have an idea what you are talking about

That's a good marketing ploy Bill and has worked well for you, I have found at times increasing the price helps as well as people seem to think if some thing is cheap it isn't  any good,
I personally have not had much success marketing to order

All the wood is Rimu Dan it is the best selling wood in NZ and I get it free [recycled], it is the first time I have tried selling desk clocks, the wall clocks I used to sell are not in the market these days
Thanks for all the comments

Some of the desk clocks I have made for my first showing of the coming season near the end of September, I have not made these before and it will be interesting to see how they are received, and of course if they sell, my main sales items that I am relying on for sales this year are jewelry boxs, they went well the last 2 times I have been out

Hi Dan I have tried paint on green wood and it is not the best I have lost a lot of wood through cracking and have since gone to a proper green wood sealer, it is a waxy like substance and is water soluble, down here they call it mobilizer or some thing like that and as you say it has to be stacked in an airy place with plenty of space between the boards
