Computer questions / Problem with Firefox NOT RESPONDING.... ?
« on: April 03, 2014, 08:44:07 am »
As of the last 3 days every once in a while either from F.B. or Yahoo when I start to type THE BLUISH SPINNING CIRCLE (waiting thing) pops up and I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING!

I have X out and restarted and MOST TIMES all works properly, but then again this problem will present itself.

I HAVE ....RESTARTED THE PC....  Same thing happens at random times.

Hope someone out there can tell me what is making this happen and How to FIX it.

Always when the occurs I look up at the Firefox on the top and it will always say
              FIREFOX NOT RESPONDING.    Help....  Danny  :+}

Back again....Only Minutes....  Well that was a waste of a sheet of paper.  ALL PRINTED IN A ....LIGHT GRAY....  The only BLACK printed was Steve's Thickness of the wood.

Melster....Yes....If I Right Click and Save It will go to my Download File.  And Then I can open it and go thru the same motions I just did, but Different outcome.  GRAY IS OUTLINED WITH A Nice Black.  Oh well.....   Danny  :+}

General Scroll Saw Talk / Printing Steve's Patterns.... :+}
« on: March 21, 2014, 12:56:14 pm »
This subject has been on here before.
I am pretty sure before (not sure how long ago) when I brought up a pattern from Steves Pattern Vault I was able to Print from that.  Still can, but it prints exactly like Steve shows it.  Light Gray with No cut lines.  I have found by DOWNLOADING the pattern I can open it and be able to Print with the Cut Lines.  Not a big problem, but was just wondering or asking for an answer why this is?  Thanks....  Danny  :+}

Pattern Requests. / Re: Question for Danny

Hi Dan and Very Happy to make your Acquaintance....  :+}
     Been a while since I cut the Duck Dynasty pattern, but 90% of all Portrait patterns will fit nicely into a 8X10 Picture frame.  Danny  :+}

Little late on this post, but thought I wanted to add my Procedures.
     I for sure do agree with all above mentioned favorite ways.  Have used them all.
I decide on the size of the blanks the pattern will need.  IE:  Ornaments
     I just add 3/8 to 1/2" on all sides.  Using ALEENS glue I just apply
Small Beads around the 4 sides.  Clamp for Approx. 15 minutes.  Ready for cutting.
Most of my Crafts are cut using Baltic Birch Ply.  FUZZES are a thing of the PAST.
Used the sacrificial bottom blank for years.  Never knew about Flying Dutchman.
I use the FD-UR#1 blade for 90% of all my cutting.  I Stack cut most all the time.
This blade only leaves very small amount of the Fuzzes.  Light sanding and the
bottom is as smooth as the top.  Only use the Adhesive back paper to print the patterns.  Works Great.  Anyway....  This is only my 13 cents worth.  Danny :+}

The Coffee Shop / MOSQUITO TRAP.... :+}
« on: March 11, 2014, 10:59:08 am »
HOMEMADE MOSQUITO TRAP:
Items needed:
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 gram of yeast
1 2-liter bottle

HOW:
1. Cut the plastic bottle in half.
2. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
3. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.
4. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle, taping them together if desired.
5. Wrap the bottle with something black, leaving the top uncovered, and place it outside in an area away from your normal gathering area. (Mosquitoes are also drawn to the color black.)

Change the solution every 2 weeks for continuous control.

Well from reading your earlier post concerning cutting a straight line using a Spiral and now looking at the finished product I would say it looks Great from the picture.
     Well done my friend.  I am not a Spiral person, altho Mike got me thinking of trying them again with his New Fangle Super Duper Spiral blade.  Danny  :+}
