thanks everyone.The metal I got was at Micheals craft store.0.005 a 36 gauge metal.Very thin that you can cut with your sissors.I used a regular #5 rev.tooth blade but if you have one that is not reverse I think it would be better.Glad to meet you there Cheri and some others as well.What did you think of the picnic and the seminars you attended? Here is my first try at cutting brass.I put it between 2 pieces of plywood and used a #5 blade to cut it.Painted the backer and glued it to it. Bobby

The roosters are stack cut from cedar and the crosses are from 1" walnut.The are 10x16 and 10x18 inches.Bobby

There will be no charge to put things on the brag table but $5 to enter the contest.SAW members get a discount.I encourage all who come to bring something at least to the brag table.It doesn't have to be perfect and there will be lots of great scrollers to help you with any questions.It is a fun time for amature to expert.
