Google Stencil Font and you should find many amny free and useable fonts. Once you install the font to  your system, it should be available in Inkscape

I agree with Newfie.  Around here  ( Eastern Virginia)  folks that go to flea markets tend to want a bargain.  Thrity Fourth and up handmade items of any kind do not usually do well.  My last show in 2012 was a craft show and I had some military plaques on display. For some reason the interest that day was Navy.  didn't sell any but gave out a number of cards. A "Procrastinator" called and finally picked up a Navy plaque 2 days before Christmas. The plaque is the self framing type and I sell them for $25.

Try one of those very short heavy duty three way plugs.  The kind that one end plugs into the foot switch and the other edn has 3 outlets.  Put the clock and the saw plugs in and they both work with the foot pedal

I read somewhere, maybe here that someone hooke a regugular old clock, not digital, in line with there foot pedal and set the clock to 12:00.  Ever time the saw was running, the clock was too.

I seem ot remember Walter Cronkite and the 20th Century, Wild Kingdom and Disney.  Us kids were the remote control back then.  But you better not change channels unless you were told to!
