Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95-year-old grandmother and comfort her.

When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning."  Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that two people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble.

"Oh, no, my dear," replied granny.  "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring.  It was just the right rhythm.  Nice and slow and even.  Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong."

She paused to wipe away a tear, and continued, "and if the damned ice cream truck hadn't come along, he'd still be alive today."

I use cardboard from around the house under projects. Cereal boxes, soda boxes etc.  My brow paper comes from the grocery store.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Band Saw Blades
« on: January 20, 2013, 02:06:26 pm »
I use a 3/4 ' 4TPI for resawing and a 1/4 inch for most everything else.  I do have a3/8 that came on the saw but it is not a quality blade.  When I had t ocall Rikon for a small problem, the rep asked me if I had changed the blade.  When I tol dhime yes, his comment was GOOD MOVE. I have used Olsen and Timberwolf and they both work fine for me.

I am happy with my Porter Cable Table Saw.  The rip fence works great. Lays flat, easy to adjust, and if you calibrate the rule on the front, it will be spot on on the measurement.  The mite gage however is another story.   I looked at all of the saws at Lowes and Home Depot when I purchased and even the more expensive saws came with a 10 cent miter gage.  I purchased an Incra miter gage and it is great.  Why cant the put a little more in to the miter gages?? The othe thing with the PC is it has different shaped blade guard and it has too much gap between the blade and the guard, bu tit is something I cam work around when needed.

I think I dated her mother a few decades ago.

@ Rob  If we change the MPH to KPH would that help you figure it out?  ( or you could just ask you wife,  Mrs Hawking)

I like them both.  I believe you could put many different colors behind that cutting and it would still look great. The back does not detract form the excellent cutting

Depending on the piece, I may use the paint points but I also use and old lazy susan from a yard sale. Just spin to spray all sides
