You can get a free clone of this font and make your own. http://www.ffonts.net/Odana.font

Yes you can, Dave. Click File -> Export, then choose which format you want to export in.

Martin.
Martin - what version of Inkscape do you use? I don't think my version (0.48) supports that jpg export (except as a png file).

I only just noticed this, Ray. My apologies to anyone who I confused, it looks like I was getting mixed up between Inkscape and Gimp. You are correct, Inkscape can only export as PNG

Have you looked on Google images? There may be something there that you can easily adapt.

I didn't know about Sawyer's Day, which shows I should visit the forum more often. All the items are great, and I particularly like the one with the tools.

Nice idea for the plaque, Dustin, and well done with all the trophies. You gave up on bikes about the same age I started, I was 11 when I got my first bike. Still got one 52 years later. :)

OMG  just new that when  posted someone would correct me, Thanks Martin
of course once converted you can no longer re-size as you wish and thats why I tend to save as SVG
Dave

That's true, Dave. I export to jpg when I am sure everything is as I want it to be, including size. Occasionally I will keep an svg copy as well, but usually resizing the jpg will do.

I actually took the time to count the amount of cuts, there's 860 cuts in this project.

And I thought there were lots in the loco I cut, with around half that number. Not just talented, but brave too. :)

There's 1001 ways of printing, but I do all my printing and resizing from XNview, just one of the many free image viewers out there. Although it's not something others don't do, it will show you the page before printing so you have an idea what size the print out will be.
(I also set my printer to only use black ink for the pattern to save on ink - unless it's one of Ray's red outline patterns, of course. :)

I think the 5/8 hole for the thumb may be too small. I have small hands and when I made one of these, I drilled the hole 1" and it was tight.

Dennis, I was looking at photos of traction engines on Google images and this looked familiar. :) It looks like your traction engine was/is a Lledo die cast model, which were a range of models in the UK called 'Gone Days.' I have a couple of steam wagons from the same range. The picture linked to one for sale on Ebay.

Nicely done, Dennis, I love these.

I ought to get into the pattern request forum again, I have hundreds of photos of traction engines, being a frequent visitor to steam rallies during summer. :)
