Billy, I made the mistake (well not mistake ) of making a large batch of it, not realising it takes so little to do a good job, it's lasted me for ages, but at least it doesn't go off - it just smells that way  ;D ;D

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Warping wood
« on: September 18, 2012, 06:05:00 am »
I cut my last section of the plank yesterday so I now have 2 x 1/2" planks and stacked them on 1" square strips of wood to let the air get to them. they have both warped, so I'll wait for them to stop moving then plane them to size(I left them oversize just in case). I checked the moisture content and it was 5.9      How long would you recomment to leave the planks before planing them?

The bellows are easy enough to remove, you can't always see a split when using a mirror, the pop you heard does sound like it might still be the bellows.

3 comments and 26 downloads now, so that tells you one thing Mahendra, your patterns are good enough for 26(so far) people to download. Personally I think it's another great pattern.

when cutting very fragile pieces I like to put the cutouts back in position and tape them in place with clear tape, this gives support when cutting out the rest of the pieces. Just my preference.
