Hi Pete welcome to the forum, I'm Keith from Cornwall.

My saw came with two clampy things it says you can attach to a pinless blade and will let you somehow attach it to the saw. But it doesn't actually give instructions or a diagram on how to do it. (Harbor freight saw) I ordered some pinless blades so I can try it out whenever they get here (they don't sell pinless blades at my harbor freight, lol)Those "clampy things should fit the same way you would fit a pinned blade, the main problem with them is that you need a hex key to fit one on each end of the blade, it is time consuming ane putting it bluntly "it's a pain in the a**e" but it is a method of using the pinless blades. I started out on a similar machine with those "Clampy Things" and used it for quite a while producing some nice work, it just takes a little longer. I was lucky and had a small win on the lottery and upgraded my machine. I bought myself an EX16 which took about 20 seconds to change the blade from one hole to the next. I had a lot of trouble with that machine and Axminster Power Tools gave great customer service. We tried 5 new machines all to no avail, then they upgraded me to the EX21 free of charge and since then I've had no trouble with it.
