Sheila, If your Keith hadn't made such a good pattern this Keith couldn't have cut it nicely. I'm slowly building up my stock of your patterns, not only are they good patterns, but they also come with full instructions. And unlike most other companies, these are downloadable so I get them instantly (well longest wait I have had was 3 mins) no waiting 2 - 3 weeks for the postal service to deliver them. All in all it's a great service, thank you Sheila.

Keith.

Hi Tim, welcome to the forum, I'm Keith from Cornwall U.K.
In answer to your first problem, yes it is perfectly normal, I used to give all my work away, but as I improved I had to fight the family and girlfriend off so I could keep enough to take to craft fairs lol.

A  guy is in his 70's and loves to fish.

He was sitting in his  boat the other day when he heard a voice say,
'Pick  me up.'

He looked around and couldn't see anyone.

He  thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice  say

again,'Pick me up.'

He looked in the water and  there, floating on the top, was a frog.

The  man said, 'Are you talking to me?'

The frog said, 'Yes, I'm  talking to you.    Pick  me up, then kiss me;
and  I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.
I'll  make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous, because
I  will be your bride!'

The man looked at the frog for a short  time, reached over, picked
it  up carefully and placed it in his shirt pocket.

The frog  said, 'What, are you nuts?  Didn't you hear what I said?
I  said, "Kiss me, and I will be your beautiful bride."'

He  opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said,

'Nah.   At my age, I'd rather have a talking frog.'

With  age comes wisdom.

The Coffee Shop / SENIORS & COMPUTERS...........
« on: October 06, 2012, 02:39:55 pm »

As we SilverSurfers know, sometimes we have trouble with our computers.
I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.

Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.

As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?
He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'

I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,
'An, ID ten T error?  What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'

Eric grinned ...'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?

'No,' I replied.

'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'

So I wrote down:

ID10T

I used to like Eric!!!!

Excellent work, love the frame too. But I agree with Al W that I prefer the look of leather rather than twine. But as he also said Leather is a lot harder to work with.

Beat you there Rob, I can just about manage to walk 45 yards before needing a rest, that's assuming I don't fall over trying to get that far. I can only sit at the scrollsaw for 20 - 25 mins before needing to get up and move about (but the government reassessment of disabled people says I'm fit to go on jobseekers)
