Thanks guys.  Instead of waxing my table, I use a light dusting of baby powder every once in a while..

What kind of maintainence needs to be done on the 788? Oiling? greasing?

Hey Graybeard  dated Moses and had an affair with Methuselah but neither one was as good looking as your picture   ;D.  Since my birthday is coming up soon, instead of a cake, the neighbors are gathering all the cracked and warped wood they can find for a huge bon fire which will put out less candle power than the ones on a cake.

General Scroll Saw Talk / stack cutting
« on: June 15, 2010, 11:04:27 pm »
How many layers of 1/4 inch baltic birch do you cut? I use .024 spiral bades and cut three layers.  The sand mop Steve showed us makes short work sanding them, even the most delicate fretwork.

I wouldn't mind getting them in email.  How do I find you on FaceBook?

That's like saying I have a thin body but it is covered with a LOT of insulation I may be old but am still not giving in to it.  I haven't pulled a trigger for 16 years and went out and shot 17 out of 25.  Ok so that is pretty pityful but it beats siting around knitting :)

Take 7 deep slow breaths and let a part of the problems go with each exhale.  that doesn't translate as well as it is said in the martial arts but you get the idea.

Janet if you are using good acrylic paint, there is no need for any kind of clear finish unless you want it more shiney.

You can't depend on honesty or morals.  Not everybody's got em.  I used to register my designs and post the number. It deters at least some people.

A copyright needs to be registered in order for infringement to me enforced.

I would scroll saw even if I didn't need the money. I am too old and ugly to make it the easier way   ;D

Pattern Requests. / Why are some old pictures for sale as patterns
« on: June 14, 2010, 10:06:08 am »
Ok I am too paranoid to try to post a pattern again much less sell one.  But I see patterns for sale that come from pictures that have been around from even before my time.  And why is it that one person charges for the same pattern that someone else is giving away??
I will just hunker down here in the boondocks of North Dakota with my saw and cut what I can.

Charlie....If they are your patterns, why do you need to remove them?
