Every time I use them they break, I also find they are hard to control so it is flat blades for me, FD's in preference

Ed, I brush all my BOL on because of the high cost of buying in NZ, I just drench it on and it doesn't take long
its a matter of personal preference

Hey Torsten if you are going for a disc sander get one that has low revs. I use a 10" on my lathe and run it at around 600rmp's this stops the burning on the wood and also you sanding discs last a lot longer

You can but try, I have sold stuff in the museum of art at home here [wood turning] and also some of the earlier box.s I used to make, but they took 25% of the sales so you have to ask what is their commission then add it on to your price.
I have also sold stuff [wood turning again ]through an art society and have done well their commission was 10% plus an entry fee, that was minimal a few $$

I think you have to have a good variety to show, this gives you a good chance of a sale and also you can see what is selling and what is not, for example the first 2 shows I sold out of puzzles so made 29 for the last show and only sold 1 also the first 2 I sold around 50 ornaments and the last show sold 2, I was pleased I did not make more
I also like to fill my table up and not leave spaces, I think it gives it a bit of a wow factor
