I inlay lettering in a script font that I found in "Word". Not a monogram but they have lots of fancy scripts there.

What Steve said.  I flattened the part that touches the blade and it works well for me on my Hegner and on my Jet.

Many cover the on/off switch with saran wrap and get a foot switch.  The DeWalt switch is prone to failure due to sawdust, of all things.  Harbor freight has cheap and useful foot switches which will work for this saw.

I have seen "child safe " Paint at Walmart.   I do not use any paint myself but I saw it there.

Started on 42 of the small airplanes today. I should finish them tomorrow.
                               I like them....no wheels.

Sadly we in America are turning into another Europe.  We vote against all these regulations but that does not stop this from happening.

I have Hegner saws and their quick release clamps have a flat bearing that touches the blade to keep the blade from bending. More expensive but worth it to some folks.
I also have the one form Mikes and it works well for me on one of my saws.

Nice outfeed table.  I do a LOT of re-sawing myself and your set up looks great.

Very nice!  Tell us what kind of wood you used and what glue.  How large is it?  What kind of scroll saw do you use?

Toy Makers / Toy wheel sizes?

Does anyone know of a source for information regarding minimum wheel size on toys according to the new rules on toys.  I have read it mentioned somewhere that the minimum size is 1 1/4".  I would like to find out.

Thanks for the kind comments.  The complicated part is that I first had to inlay the cross then went back and inlaid the crown over it. It did take some thinking and planing for sure.  Taking on custom orders like this makes me stretch my skills and gives me some useful ideas.
